In our processing we adhere to the requirements of privacy legislation. This means among other things that:

  • we clearly state the purposes for which we process personal data. We do that through this privacy statement;
  • we limit our collection of personal data to only those personal data that are necessary for legitimate purposes;
  • we first ask you for your explicit consent to process your personal data in cases where your consent is required;

Haarshop Professional Duiven B.V. is the data controller. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we collect and use and for what purpose. We recommend that you read it carefully.

This privacy statement was last updated on 25-05-2018.

When visiting our webshop, placing an order or contacting our customer service. These are just a few examples where we collect data from you. All with a purpose, that's for sure. But we think it is good to inform you about this. Therefore, in this privacy statement we have described the times when we process personal data.

Use of our webshop
When you visit our webshop, various data is collected from you. These are not names, email addresses and phone numbers, but the more technical data. Think of your IP Address (anonymized!), cookies and your browser data such as your type of browser Chrome, Internet Explorer or FireFox.

Your IP Address and browser data are examples that we use in Google Analytics. This software allows us to see how visitors like you use our web store. We have entered into a processing agreement with Google to agree on how to handle our data. Furthermore, we allow Google to see the obtained Analytics information when we ask them for support. And if we have received your permission, Google Analytics temporarily links the data as described above to your Google Account so that you will see personalized ads through remarketing.

So when you visit and use our web store, we obtain certain data from you. And that may be personal data. We store and use only the personal data that is provided directly by you, in the context of the service you have requested, or of which it is clear at the time of submission that it is provided to us for processing.

Cookies
Cookies are used on our web store. Cookies are also placed via third parties engaged by us. When you visit our webshop for the first time, a notice will be shown explaining why we use cookies and which cookies you want to accept.

We have made agreements with third parties who place cookies. However, we do not have full control over what the providers of these applications do with the cookies when they read them. For more information about these applications and how they deal with cookies, please see the privacy statements of these parties (note: these may change regularly).

Placing an order (without or with an account)

When you place an order with us, we need several pieces of information from you. These are:

Email address
Name
Last name
Delivery and billing address
Phone number
Payment details
IP-Address

These details are needed to receive payment and ensure that your order reaches your home. The e-mail address is requested so that we can send you a confirmation with a summary of your order, as well as the invoice. The phone number is mainly used to inform you, if necessary, about changes concerning your order. The IP-Address is used to exclude fraudsters from visiting our webshop.

If you order from us with an account (you can also create one while ordering), then we keep the data as long as you want to keep your account. After all, the reason you have created an account is probably because you do not want to fill in all the information over and over again.

Getting in touch

If you have questions, complaints or feedback, you can call, email and chat with us. To help you with this as quickly and effectively as possible, we use various pieces of information from you. Initially, only your name, e-mail address and/or phone number. But if you have ordered from us before, we can also see your order history. This is linked to your e-mail address. Saves you having to find an order number again!

Apart from the above information, you are free to choose which information you share with us. The information you send us will be kept as long as necessary according to the nature of the form or the content of your e-mail for a complete response and handling.
